A Message for All to Hear
The Bible says there is only one way to eternal life
Yeshua (Jesus) said: "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me." (John 14:6)
Good works cannot save you.
"For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of Yah (God): Not of works, lest any man should boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9)
Trust Yeshua (Jesus) today! Here's what you must do:
Admit you are a sinner.
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of Yah;" (Romans 3:23)
"Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:" (Romans 5:12)
"If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us." (1 John 1:10)
Be willing to turn from sin (repent).
Yeshua said: "I tell you, Nay: but, except you repent, you shall all likewise perish." (Luke 13:5)
"And the times of this ignorance Yah winked at; but now commands all men every where to repent:" (Acts 17:30)
Believe that Yeshua died for you, was buried, and rose from the dead.
"For Yah so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)
"But Yah commended His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners. Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)
"That if you confess with your mouth the Son Yeshua, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved." (Romans 10:9)
Through prayer, invite Yeshua (Jesus) into your life to become your personal Savior.
"For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (Romans 10:10)
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Yeshua shall be saved." (Romans 10:13)
Example of what to pray:
Dear Father in heaven, I am a sinner and need forgiveness. I believe that your Son Yeshua shed His precious blood and died for my sin. I am willing to turn from sin. I now invite Yeshua to come into my heart and life as my personal Saviour.
"But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of Yah, even to them that believe on His name:" (John 1:12)
"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." (2 Corinthians 5:17)
If you have received Yeshua as your Saviour, as a new believer in covenant you should:
Read the Bible every day to get to know your Messiah better.
"Study to show yourself approved unto Yah, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." (2 Timothy 2:15)
"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." (Psalms 119:105)
Talk to Yah in prayer every day.
"And all things, whatsoever you shall ask in prayer, believing, you shall receive." (Matthew 21:22)
"Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto Yah." (Philippians 4:6)
Start at the beginning, Genesis 1:1. There is a reason that book is first. There is no "old" and "new" testament, but the Word of Yah is whole and complete.
Learn about the Torah. It is the first 5 books of the bible. It means instruction, to point and direct, sometimes referred to as the law but not always.
2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of Yah, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness
5 Reasons believers should keep the Torah:
* The Torah is all about Yeshua (Jesus)
* Yeshua kept and taught the Torah
* The apostles kept and taught the Torah
* The Holy Spirit empowers believers to keep the Torah
* Keeping Torah is a blessing!
Our obedience to Torah is the result of a transformed life! Keeping Torah is not the root of our salvation, but the fruit of our salvation!
He that saith he abides in Him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked. 1 John 2:6
For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. 1 John 5:3
If ye love me, keep my commandments. John 14:15
For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me; for he wrote of me. But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words? John 5: 46, 47
Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Matthew 5:17, 18
Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. Romans 8:7
Become set apart from the world. We are to be in the world but not of the world:
And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her (Babylon), my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. Revelations 18:4
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto Yah, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of the Father. Romans 12:1,2
Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; 2 Corinthians 10:5
Share the eternal news of the gospel with others!
And He said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." (Mark 16:15)
"For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!" (1 Corinthians 9:16)
"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of Yah unto salvation to every one that believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek." (Romans 1:16)
